Free IPL Tickets Dispute Resolved Between HCA and SRH

The controversy between the Hyderabad Cricket Affiliation (HCA) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) over free passes for IPL matches has been settled after a short standoff. The dispute attracted consideration when allegations surfaced that the HCA president had threatened SRH administration relating to ticket allocation.

Following orders from Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, vigilance officers launched an investigation into the matter. A staff of 12 officers led by an SP-rank officer arrived at Uppal Stadium at 10 AM to conduct searches. They examined the stadium’s capability, reviewed agreements between SRH and HCA, and investigated ticket distribution patterns.

When vigilance officers contacted HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao relating to the allegations, they had been knowledgeable that he can be out there for questioning tomorrow. Because the controversy escalated, representatives from HCA and SRH held a particular assembly to resolve the difficulty. After discussions with the administration, SRH representatives introduced they might proceed offering 10% of tickets to HCA as per their authentic settlement.

The short intervention by Telangana authorities seems to have helped settle what may have developed into a bigger battle between the cricket governing physique and the IPL franchise.
