Why Did Followers Need to Wait 22 Years for Freaky Friday 2?
Regardless of curiosity from followers, it took Disney 20 years to greenlight Freakier Friday. By the point the film hits theaters, it can have been 22 years because the authentic film. In December 2024, Curtis defined why followers needed to wait greater than 20 years for the sequel, explaining, “We couldn’t have made this film till now, as a result of Lindsay needed to be sufficiently old to have a 15-year-old.”
