Union Minister of State for House Affairs Bandi Sanjay turned Ashoknagar and surrounding areas right into a battle zone on Saturday, as he led college students protest for rescheduling of Group I examination. As police have been attempting to suppress college students protests, firebrand Bandi Sanjay threw his weight behind Group I aspirants.
“This can be very unlucky that Congress Authorities is attempting to suppress the rightful demand of Group I aspirants for rescheduling of examination. The GO 29 introduced in by Revanth Reddy Sarkar is towards the pursuits of Group I aspirants, who’ve been making ready for years making a number of sacrifices. However as a substitute of listening to Group I aspirants issues, Authorities is adamantly shifting forward to conduct examination,” complained Bandi Sanjay talking to media at Ashoknagar.
As Group I aspirants sought Bandi Sanjay’s help, the Union Minister arrived at Ashoknagar to lend his help to agitating youth.
“It’s atrocious that Authorities has been turning a blind eye to Group I aspirants. What’s much more inhuman is, police are unleashing terror on agitating college students. Even woman college students are being violently overwhelmed up and abused by police. I cannot let police atrocities proceed towards college students,” thundered Bandi Sanjay addressing the agitating youth.
Whereas the Group I aspirants have been protesting for the previous three days in Ashoknagar, with Bandi Sanjay’s arrival, the protests reached peak, placing stress on Authorities.
Bandi Sanjay gave a ‘Chalo Secretariat’ name and led a rally of scholars from Ashoknagar to Secretariat. As the scholars protest led by Bandi Sanjay appears to be turning into a significant agitation, police software Bandi Sanjay into preventive custody.
