Lovers Muskan Rastogi (27) and Sahil Shukla (25), arrested in reference to the homicide of the previous’s husband Saurabh, stayed in Himachal’s Kasol for six days after committing the grotesque act.
Saurabh Rajput, a former Service provider Navy officer, was allegedly drugged after which stabbed to dying by his spouse and her lover on March 4, his physique dismembered and sealed inside a drum with cement.
Following the homicide, Muskan and Shukla travelled to Kasol in Himachal Pradesh on March 10, staying for six days, stories PTI.
What did police probe reveal?
The physique of Muskan’s husband 29-year-old Saurabh Rajput, a former Service provider Navy officer, was found on March 18. Rajput had returned to his Meerut residence from London on February 24 to have fun his spouse’s birthday, unaware that she had already plotted his homicide with Shukla.
In accordance with police, Muskan and Shukla, who rekindled a relationship in 2019, noticed Rajput as an impediment to their affair and determined to kill him. The couple drugged Rajput’s meals twice, with the second try on March 4 inflicting him to fall unconscious.
Police later recovered the physique within the drum on the couple’s residence, following which Muskan and Sahil had been arrested. They’ve been remanded to 14-day judicial custody.
