Actress Malavika Mohanan not too long ago took to Instagram to share her soulful expertise of filming within the lush wilderness of Thekkady for the Malayalam film ‘Hridayapoorvam’. Identified for her love of nature and journey, Malavika was deeply moved by the serene magnificence and magic of the forests she encountered through the shoot.

Having explored forests and mountains throughout the globe, she described her time in Thekkady as particularly significant. She wrote:

“For a couple of weeks, I used to be in Thekkady capturing for ‘Hridayapoorvam’. Each morning I woke as much as the melodies of birds, the earthy scent of wildflowers within the air, and the sensation of cool grass beneath my ft. Nights had been wrapped in a soothing silence, damaged solely by the quiet hum of the forest—every second felt like a mild spell.”

She described a deep reference to nature, recounting moments of silently hugging timber and feeling a vibrant, nearly mystical power move by means of them. The moonlight piercing by means of the foliage felt otherworldly to her, radiating a way of peace and non secular grounding.

“Even the water we drank there, straight from pure springs, was wealthy with minerals—so completely different from the filtered, lifeless water of the cities. And waking as much as a peacock or watching noisy turkeys patrol the world exterior our hut—it was like nature placing on a present only for us.”

She shared a second of awe with fellow actress Srintha after they heard the distant name of an elephant at evening—an expertise that left them each speechless.

Residing amidst the forest for weeks, Malavika mentioned, was nothing wanting magical. It reaffirmed her dream of sometime proudly owning a small dwelling nestled within the coronary heart of nature.
